Brick-Work

The London-based architectural practice of Sergison Bates combines building projects, construction research and teaching. The publication presents eight case-study projects made between 1997 and 2005. Each of them explores the spatial potential of brick construction and identifies the possibilities for the materiality of buildings to have a direct emotional effect.
